Official Transfer Evaluation

Official Transfer Evaluation

Official transfer evaluations will generally be available within one week of the admission date. However, please note the following items that may lengthen the time it takes to complete an official transfer evaluation:

1. Upper-Division courses, regardless of program, may not be equated until orientation due to the need to have department chairs evaluate the course.

2. Some program-specific courses may not be equated until orientation due to the need to have department chairs evaluate the course, especially for the professional schools (Business, Nursing/Health Care Science, Engineering, and Criminal Justice).

3. Freshmen with college work who were admitted on freshman criteria, but have not yet submitted official transcripts will not have their transfer work evaluated until those transcripts have been submitted.

4. Students admitted through exception that have not yet submitted official transcripts will not have their transfer work evaluated until those transcripts have been submitted.

Generally speaking, most unevaluated courses will be equated by the time the student attends a required orientation program. More information about orientation is available at the orientation website.

For questions regarding the official transfer evaluation, prior to attending an orientation, please contact the Office of Student Recruitment (go@uccs.edu; 719-255-3084).
