- GPA: See GPA Requirements by College below
- Credit Hours: 24 hours of transferable coursework
- Can still apply with less, but may not be re-directed to apply as first-year student. Applicable credits will still transfer.
- High school transcripts/GED scores are only required if you have completed less than 24 hours of transferable coursework.
- Required Documents: Transcripts from each college you have attended
- Can be unofficial if from current college
- Must be official if from previous college
GPA Requirements by College
Individual UCCS College Transfer Requirements
- College of Letters, Arts, & Sciences: 2.4 cumulative GPA
- College of Business: 2.7 cumulative GPA*
- College of Education: 2.4 cumulative GPA
- College of Engineering & Applied Science: 3.0 cumulative GPA**
- Helen and Arthur E. Johnson Beth-El College of Nursing & Health Sciences (Nursing major) - 3.0 cumulative GPA or above
- Helen and Arthur E. Johnson Beth-El College of Nursing & Health Science (Health Sciences major) - 2.5 cumulative GPA or above
- School of Public Affairs: 2.4 cumulative GPA
*Students must also have completed English Composition I and College Algebra with a C- or better prior to admission.
**Completion of Calculus I and Calculus-based Physics and/or College Chemistry is highly encouraged.
Students who are not admissible to their professional college of choice will automatically be considered for the College of Letters, Arts, and Sciences. For example, students who plan to major in Business but are missing any admission criteria can still be admitted to UCCS and move into the College of Business once they are eligible.
