At UCCS Transfer Students Can Earn a Life-Changing Degree Without a Lifetime of Debt.

UCCS is one of many different higher education institutions in Colorado. But we pride ourselves on offering the most competitive and reasonably priced contribution to your future. UCCS tuition rates continually rank at least $2,500 less than most other in-state universities. We're proud of our distinct programs that feature real-world application and career connections, leading to real return on investment.

It's our mission to help you find financial footing, and we do so in many ways, such as our Chancellor's Award and Peak Award.

  • Chancellor’s Award: For incoming full-time transfer students who are from Colorado or on the WUE tuition rate attaining their first undergraduate degree.  Students seeking a second undergraduate degree or admitted to a graduate program are not eligible. Automatically awarded to students with 3.0 cumulative transfer college GPA or higher and with a minimum of 24 college credit hours. The Chancellor’s Award is $2,500 per year!
  • Peak Award: For incoming full-time transfer students who are not from Colorado and paying non-resident tuition attaining their first undergraduate degree.  Students seeking a second undergraduate degree or admitted to a graduate program are not eligible.  International students are not eligible for this award. Automatically awarded to students with 3.0 cumulative transfer college GPA or higher and with a minimum of 24 college credit hours. The Peak Award is $6,250 per year!
