GT Pathways is a general education curriculum that forms the core of most bachelor's degrees and is guaranteed to transfer between all public colleges and universities. GT Pathways courses, in which the student earns a C- or higher, will always transfer and apply to GT Pathways requirements in AA, AS and most bachelor's degrees at every public Colorado college and university.
See the GT Pathways checklist and course list via the Colorado Higher Education site. This checklist is meant to help high school students plan their AP, IB, and Concurrent Enrollment courses.
Colorado also has developed Statewide Articulation Agreements (Degrees with Designation) that allow you to graduate from a Colorado community college with a 60-credit associate's degree with designation, such as an Associate's of Arts in Business; enroll with junior status at a university; complete the bachelor's degree in no more than an additional 60 credits (for a total of 120 credits). For full information State-wide Transfer Articulation Agreements (Degrees with Designation) please visit the Colorado Guaranteed Transfer website.
GT Pathways does not apply to some degrees (such as many engineering, computer science, nursing, and others). Please seek guidance from the Transfer Team (transfer@uccs.edu) to ensure you are selecting the appropriate coursework that will apply to your planned degree program at UCCS.
