Bill Estimator

We offer a transparent view of your total bill

It is UCCS’ mission to help you understand how much your education will cost. If you are an in-state, Colorado resident student, please use the University of Colorado’s Tuition Bill Estimator to begin calculating your cost. All students may contact the Bursar’s office for help. From there, Financial Aid can further outline what aid options you are eligible for and what it will cover.

FAQs

When it comes to understanding your bill, our estimator looks at what type of student you are (e.g. undergraduate, graduate), how many credit hours you want to take, which mandatory fees apply to those credit hours, and the price of your residence, then adds it all together. Remember: the end result is just an estimation. Don’t forget to factor in books, meals, transportation, and other necessary expenses.

Financial aid awards are credited to your UCCS student billing account at the start of each semester. See awards in your myUCCS portal. Work-study funds are earned over the course of an academic year and are paid according to the University’s payroll schedule

In our mission to be transparent about your costs, UCCS lists all of its mandatory student fees on your student account. These fees are voted on by the Regents of the University of Colorado, and the UCCS student body. These fees pay for buildings and services on campus that you may utilize and enjoy during your time here at UCCS. Please note that you will have access to these services for the entire semester in which the fees are charged, regardless of the length of your class. These fees are mandatory and cannot be reversed. See fees here.

When students register for any class at UCCS, they must agree to pay all tuition, fees, and other associated costs. The Tuition and Fee Disclosure form explains this and offers information on payment plans, withdrawal, tuition appeals, methods of billing, billing errors, returned payments, late payments, and more.

The Account Summary shows you how to find your current tuition balance via your myUCCS account, plus what fees you owe, your housing charges, course-specific costs, and every other expense that comprises your total bill. This form will help you learn more about each section of information within your account.  See guide here.

Each semester, the Bursar’s office provides a calendar of important dates and deadlines students must meet when it comes to paying for their education. See the dates for Spring 2020 here.

  1. You may complete a one-time payment or enroll in a payment plan through the Bursar’s office or online, via your myUCCS Portal account. Enrolling in a payment plan requires a $40 fee for every enrollment. Students must re-enroll in a payment plan every semester. Accepted payment methods include an “e-check” Automatic Bank Payment (ACH), credit card, and debit card. Find more information on the Bursar website or contact the office today:
